About Nomixy

Hey — I’m S.H., the person behind Nomixy.

I run a small export business out of South Korea, shipping cosmetics products to customers and influencers in over 15 countries. It’s a one-person operation. I handle everything from sourcing to packaging to customs paperwork to chasing down lost shipments at 2 AM.

I started Nomixy because I couldn’t find a blog that actually spoke to people like me — solo operators who don’t have a marketing team, a tech department, or even a second opinion most days. The advice out there is either too corporate (“align your Q3 KPIs with stakeholder synergies”) or too vague (“just hustle harder”). Neither is useful when you’re trying to figure out how to price a new product while also fixing a broken checkout page.

What I Actually Know

I’ve been running my own business since 2020. Along the way, I’ve built and maintained multiple websites, taught myself enough code to be dangerous (and enough to fix what I break), and tested more AI tools than I can count. Some saved me hours every week. Others were a complete waste of money. I write about both.

I also built Jusome, a web tool that converts Korean addresses into English format for international shipping. It came out of a problem I had in my own business — I was manually translating addresses for every overseas order, and it was eating up way too much time. So I built something to fix it.

That’s basically the Nomixy approach: find a real problem, figure out a practical solution, and share what I learned so you don’t have to waste the same time I did.

What You’ll Find Here

This blog covers three areas — solo business strategy, AI tools that are genuinely useful (not just hyped), and productivity systems that work when nobody is watching over your shoulder. Every article comes from something I’ve actually dealt with. I don’t write about things I haven’t tried.

I’m not a guru. I’m not selling a course. I’m just a solo business owner who writes about what works and what doesn’t, based on real experience running a real business.
